In line with the investment strategies and client directives, the Corporate Finance Manager is in charge of overseeing a portfolio of corporate bond investments to maximize return while reducing risk. Comprehensive credit analysis, market research, trade execution, portfolio building, and continuous risk monitoring are all part of this job.
- Lead all financial reporting, including monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, five-year financial planning, and statutory reporting.
- Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support executive decision-making and business performance.
- Prepare and present financial results and insights to the Board of Directors and key stakeholders.
- Play a key role in shaping and executing the company’s business and financial strategy.
- Oversee taxation, cash flow, treasury, foreign exchange, and hedging activities, ensuring strong financial controls.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, investors, and regulatory bodies, ensuring full compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage and oversee the company’s banking and borrowing arrangements
- Oversee corporate bond investments, trading activities, and investor mandates, including close coordination with the guaranteed company (GuarantCo).
- Ensure all investment and financial activities comply with internal policies, investor requirements, and regulatory obligations.
- Lead investment appraisal, capital allocation, and commercial decision-making, including tenders, pricing, and margin analysis.
- Oversee all finance functions, systems, and controls, including AP, AR, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, and Management Accounting.
- Establish and maintain an enterprise risk management framework.
Support, while working closely with the CEO/CFO and reporting formally to the CEO/CFO
Description of Position Responsibility:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; master’s degree or CFA designation preferred.
- Strong knowledge of fixed income markets, corporate credit fundamentals, and macroeconomic trends
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
- Good organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Excellent time management skills.
