Responsibilities and Duties
- Oversee core financial operations, including accounting, cash flow, tax, and audit compliance in line with Cambodian regulations.
- Manage accounts and cash flow to ensure timely fulfilment of financial commitments and mitigate potential fund shortages.
- Prepare and support audits, ensuring accurate reconciliations and smooth documentation processes.
- Ensure timely tax computations and instalment payments to avoid penalties under Cambodian tax laws, including Monthly Tax Filing, annual Tax Filing, and other tax-related matters.
- Liaise with Cambodian tax authorities to ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations.
- Handle relationships with Cambodian banks, preparing loan drawdown letters, and ensuring proper documentation is in place for financial transactions.
- Administer and execute department guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with company policies and Cambodian legal regulations.

Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a professional qualification (e.g., ACCA). Knowledge of Cambodian accounting and tax regulations is essential.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years in a finance role, preferably within the Cambodian real estate or property development industry.
- Proven experience in accounting, audit firms, and commercial finance, ideally within property development. In-depth knowledge of Cambodian tax laws, accounting standards, and compliance is required.
- Strong understanding of Cambodian accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with local tax matters, including Monthly Tax Filing, annual Tax Filing, and other tax-related matters.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial management software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for managing relationships with auditors, banks, and tax authorities.
- Analytical thinking with a focus on delivering measurable financial results.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on Cambodian financial regulations.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of local Cambodian financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Hands-On Approach: A proactive individual capable of managing tasks independently, with strong attention to detail and a results-driven attitude.
