Job Summary

The Supply Planner is responsible for related supply plan activities associated with Supply Points. S/he will lead weekly Meetings with Supply Points & assist the Planning Manager to achieve the optimum supply level and maximize the cost efficiency. Supply Planner follows up closely with the SC Operation Executive to ensure on-time clearance/minimize demurrage & detention charges.

S/he plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining good relationships with all stakeholders, including, but not limited to, supply points, distributors, forwarders, clearance agents, customs, customers, and commercial & finance.

Responsibilities and Duties

PREREQUISITE

Health & Safety (WISE):
  • Contribute to the achievement of a Zero Accident during working hours through active participation in and support of the company’s health & safety (WISE) program.
Local Code and Company Policies:
  • Respect specific rules with the Cambodia Milk Code for the marketing of products for infant and young child feeding, which covers the requirements for the WHO Code of Breast Milk Substitute.
  • Commit to follow the guidance of the Company Policy for the Marketing of Breast Milk Substitutes and Other Foods Intended for Infant and Young Children from time to time.
  • Assure adherence to all code of conduct, integrity, HCS Policy, and other acts/guidelines issued by the company from time to time.

AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITIES

Supply Planning:
  • To get the final Supply Plan in total and to split it into KH Rolling by distributors from N+1
Weekly Call with Supply Points:
  • To work with Supply Points and SC Operation to have shipments on time & ensure that the quantity is delivered per the GPS number.
  • To give an alert/analysis if there is a potential deviation from the Vs plan that could lead to OOS or Overstock
Report submission:
  • To send out weekly/monthly report to Finance/Distributors per defined timeline

KEY TASKS

Supply Planning:
  • To get the final Supply Plan in total from the Planning Manager and to split the quantity by distributor in the Shipment Rolling file.
  • To get detailed ETD/ETA to cover M+3 rolling, in line with M+3 rolling, and FG PO confirmation from distributors.
  • To update the Split quantity based on actual release from Supply Points, while maintaining the month landing.
  • To provide a Bi-weekly Shipment plan update to Distributors
  • To identify end-of-month delivery risk Vs cut-off date & unloading capacity at distributors
Weekly Call follow-up with Supply Points:
  • Drive weekly Operation Meeting with Supply Points to ensure ETD/ETA and quantity landed per GPS
  • Update final qty from SPs Vs firmed qty from Distributors
  • Work closely with the operations executive to connect with the Export team (Supply Points) for all incoming import schedules
Report submission:
  • Monthly Sell-In/Shipment Closing for DBS
  • Monthly KH rolling update to Finance
  • Monthly actual sell-in update by DISTRIBUTORS & TOTAL COUNTRY
  • Validate Monthly PO hard copied vs the firmed Supply Plan from the Planning Manager
  • Goods In Transit to SEA Operation Director
  • Bi-weekly shipment arrival
Qualifications and Skills

CAPABILITY PROFILE – Required Background & Leadership

Education & Knowledge:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/economics
  • Relevant knowledge in analysis and calculation
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in demand planning/supply planning in a similar industry
  • Related experiences in Customs and Importation documentation
Specialist Knowledge
  • Computer literate – SAP, advanced Excel, PowerPoint
Requirement Personal Attributes

  • Good multitasking and prioritization skills
  • Self-motivated, strong commitment, and hard working
