- Meet with customers regularly to develop and maintain a comprehensive customer database for future engagement
- Hunt for new potential customers, identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Hunt for new potential customers, via cold calls, to meet and exceed sales order Intake, especially in the Water and Petro(-chemical) segments
- Meet customers regularly and generate enquiries to develop potential projects, build and develop assigned accounts and relationship, etc.
- Promote sales of new pumps / replacements, spare parts and maintenance contracts, to new and existing customers.
- Attend promptly to enquiries and understand customers’ needs to fulfil their requirements.
- Select and recommend appropriate pumps, valves, spare parts, equipment, systems, and accessories based on customer requirements for various applications on-site
- Validate on commercial and technical requirements before generating quotations to customers, with close follow-ups up till quotation status being closed.
- Assist Sales Manager / Country Manager in strategic planning and statics collection for the sales progress.
- Select and recommend appropriate pumps, valves, equipment, systems, and accessories based on customer requirements for various applications
- Validate on commercial and technical requirements before generating and submitting quotations to customers, and ensure timely follow-ups on all enquiries from new and existing customers until the quotation status is closed
- Correspond with factories, companies and contractors / dealers for support; in relation with terms of price, technical support / service, and delivery.
- Utilise and update CRM (C4C) database on registered products to installed base and customer visits records.
- Ensure proper handover of purchase order (in terms of technical and commercial with supporting document / costing sheet) to Order Processing Team.
- Attend promptly to customers’ needs to fulfil their requirements
- Liaise with end-users, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders on pricing and technical selections in line with tender specifications and requirements
- Generate costing sheets based on tender specifications and requirements within a given time frame, and ensure adherence to company’s gross margin guideline
- Negotiate with customers to increase the scope of supply and maximise profitability of the company
- Be readily available, contactable, and responsible for promptly addressing and resolving customer inquiries regarding submitted quotations, pricing, and pumps and valves specifications
- Follow-up with clients on joint business and marketing activities status
- Assist the Sales Manager/ Country Manager in languages translation, strategic planning, and business development to support sales growth and achieve company targets
- Update technical documents and price lists
- Coordinate and liaise with internal teams and international stakeholders to plan and execute business and marketing activities
- Support the development of marketing materials, activities, and event for the company
- Regularly report sales progress, project status, and customer feedback to the Sales Manager/ Country Manager
- Handle other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Sales Manager / Country Manager.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Water Environment, Fluid Mechanic, or related field) or equivalent
- Proven experience in sales, engineering, or technical sales in a relevant industry
- Proven experience in working with foreigner boss
- Strong technical background and understanding of engineering principles and product applications
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills (Khmer and English)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Strong problem-solving abilities and customer-oriented mindset
- High commitment to delivering efficient results and dedication to fulfilling responsibilities
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for meetings, presentations, or providing services
- Willingness to travel to abroad for meetings, presentations, providing service, or conducting training programs
