The HR Manager will be responsible for building and scaling the HR infrastructure of the operations. The primary focus is to establish standardized policies, ensure ironclad legal compliance, and manage the complexities of an international workforce. You will be the architect of the "people strategy," ensuring the sales, logistics, and admin teams are high-performing and highly engaged.
HR Structural Design & SOPs
- Design and implement the complete HR structure, including organization charts, reporting lines, and departmental workflows.
- Write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the entire employee lifecycle (Recruitment, Onboarding, Offboarding, and Performance Management).
- Create a comprehensive Employee Handbook that reflects both company values and local labor regulations.
Legal & Industry Compliance
- Ensure all company activities comply with national labor laws, specifically regarding working hours, overtime, and rest days for warehouse and sales staff.
- Draft and manage diverse labor contracts (permanent, fixed-term, and outsourced) to ensure maximum flexibility and legal safety.
- Establish clear, fair protocols for handling disciplinary issues, ensuring all actions are documented and legally defensible.
International Mobility & Global Talent
- Lead the end-to-end process for international employment, including work permits, visas, and local residency requirements.
- Ensure international hires are managed according to both local labor laws and international mobility standards.
Training, Development & Engagement
- Build specific development tracks for Sales (negotiation, product knowledge) and Supply Chain (logistics, safety).
Required Skills & Competencies
- Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, written HR manuals.
- Deep expertise in local employment acts and the ability to apply them to a fast-paced trading context.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive employee relations issues and coach managers through difficult conversations.
- Practical experience navigating the processes of visas and working permits.
