The CEO is the senior executive responsible for the overall strategic direction, leadership, and performance of the investment company. This includes driving sustainable growth, maximizing shareholder value, and overseeing all aspects of the business, including investment strategy, capital raising, portfolio management, and operations. The CEO will develop a high-performing culture, build a robust network to attract capital and deals, and ensure the company's long-term profitability and market leadership. 

Leadership:

• Develop and execute the company’s long-term strategic plan and investment thesis.
• Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth, and ensure the achievement of revenue, profitability, and return on investment (ROI) targets.
• Provide ultimate oversight and strategic direction for the entire investment portfolio, ensuring alignment with the company's risk-return objectives.

Investment Portfolio Strategy & Oversight:

• Facilitate with Board to make final decisions on all capital allocation, investment approvals, divestments, and exits.
• Monitor the financial and operational performance of portfolio companies, implementing strategies to enhance value, manage risk, and ensure strong returns.
• Ensure robust portfolio management practices are in place, including regular reporting, valuation, and performance analysis. 

Capital Raising & Investor Relations (Liaison Role):

• Act as the primary liaison and company representative to all key stakeholders. This includes the Board of Directors, investors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
• Drive the firm's capital raising efforts by developing and maintaining intense relationships with potential and existing investors.
• Serve as the primary point of communication for the Board of Directors, providing transparent and regular reporting on company performance, strategy, and risk.
• Represent the company at major industry events, conferences, and in media engagements to enhance the firm's profile and attract new capital and deal flow.

Business & Investment Development:

• Drive the entire business development lifecycle, from sourcing and attracting new investment projects to closing high-value deals.
• Research and penetrate new market opportunities to diversify the company's investment portfolio and revenue streams. 

Financial & Operational Management:

• Assume full P&L responsibility, including financial forecasting, budgeting, and risk management.
• Ensure the company's operational structure and resources support its strategic objectives.

Leadership & Team Management:

• Provide leadership and mentorship to the executive team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. 

• At least Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• ACCA or CFA is an added advantage
• A minimum of 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience, with a significant portion in an investment firm, private equity, venture capital, or corporate finance.
• Proven track record in successfully raising investment funds, closing complex deals, and achieving outstanding financial returns.
• Experience in an investment firm is a requirement.
• Mastery in business development and relationship management at the most senior levels.
• Deep and sound knowledge of financial modeling, investment analysis, portfolio management, and market trends.
• Superior skills in negotiation, communication, and presentation, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
• Ability to work flexibly and independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strategic visionary with the practical ability to execute and deliver desired results.
• Unquestionable integrity and ethical standards.
• Proficiency in English and Khmer is required.
