Responsibilities and Duties

Responsible for the cost of any building project - from initial estimates, right through to the acquisition of materials and closing of project
Technically strong in project cost planning, scheduling and reporting
Prepare tender and contract documents, contracts, costing, bills of quantities and other details regarding quantities of required materials
Excellent understanding of documentation quality, be part of document control
Detailed knowledge of building and construction technology, processes, materials, business and legal matters
Undertake cost analysis and planning for new construction, repair and maintenance project work
Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies
Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports
Perform risk, value management and cost control
Provide analysis on contractual claims, value completed work and arrange payments
Conduct regular site visits, assessments and projections for future work
Maintain awareness of the different building contracts in current use
Provide advice and forecasts about costs and procurement strategy
Perform other task as assigned by Project Manager/Head of Construction/ CEO.
Prepare tender documents such as required relevant documents, scope of work, project timeline, and tender BOQ; • Select, filter, and arrange the subcontractors who are reliable and suitable for the project for tender;
Prepare final BOQs and preliminary schedules for all trades and across all projects.
Prepare contract conditions in conjunction with the factory department's inputs.
Arrange for tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documents.
Track changes to design and/or factory work and adjust budget projections.
Measure, follow up on, and value supplier deliverables and completed works on site.
Provide clarifications on contractual queries and rates, quantity analysis, review all contract documentation, review monthly payment claims, and value any variations.
Advice on the selection and sourcing of construction materials assists negotiations.
Conduct a feasibility study to estimate materials, time, labor, and cost requirements.
