Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of our cold storage facility with Health, Safety, Environment, and Social (HSES). You will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring the integrity of temperature-sensitive products, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and optimizing the performance of the logistics team. Create SOPs, Forms, Work Instructions, and Guidelines to develop and ensure that the warehouse department will sustainable and good service provider in cold storage and logistics temperature-controlled. Warehouse Manager shall follow and fully support in servicing of customer needs for cold storage and logistics temperature-controlled service provider based on sales agreement, terms and conditions.

Warehouse Operations:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the cold storage facility, including inbound and outbound logistics, handling In / Out, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
• Define storage layout, racking, and determine product coding to make it convenient for inventory management.
• Ensure strict adherence to temperature control and quality assurance protocols to preserve the integrity of stored products.
• Manage the warehouse to identify and implement Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Take charge of the maintenance schedule and ensure that all required maintenance tasks, inspections, and repairs for equipment, racking, refrigeration, and facility infrastructure are well-planned, documented, and systematically carried out. Proactively address any maintenance issues to avoid disruption of warehouse operations.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, including supervisors, forklift operators, drivers, and logistics coordinators or warehouse administration.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the warehouse team.
• Manage staff hours of work and accurately and on time preparations of information for client billing.

Inventory Management:

• Implement and maintain efficient inventory control systems to accurately track and manage temperature-sensitive products.
• Conduct regular audits to verify inventory accuracy and address discrepancies promptly.
• Conduct random spot checks to minimize fraudulent cases in warehouse cold storage.
• Maintains records of goods ordered and received, and a regular report of inventory movement.

Compliance and HSES:

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing cold storage and temperature-controlled logistics.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize workplace accidents and ensure the well-being of warehouse personnel.
• Collaborate with HSES and Engineer/Technical teams to optimize productivity and minimize risks.
• Achieve agreed Safety & Occupational Health goals, in line with annual Environmental, Health & Safety Plan, or real-time changes in safety performance.
• Ensure completion of incident reports, communication of investigation findings in line with client and or other stakeholder requirements.

Technology Integration:

• Leverage technology solutions for warehouse management, such as temperature monitoring systems, inventory tracking software, and other available systems.
• Collaborate with QA / QC and IT teams to optimize and integrate logistics systems.
• Actively seek out opportunities to reduce carbon footprint through energy savings strategies

Client and Internal Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with clients to understand their specific requirements and ensure seamless coordination of inbound and outbound shipments and goods delivery.
• Collaborate with Sales, HR / Finance department to fulfill the needs of each process to achieve the company's goals.
• Address client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Meet weekly to discuss resources & operational performance, opportunities for improvement, and key challenges.

Performance Metrics:

• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), OKRs, and regularly assess the performance of the warehouse team.
• Implement strategies for continuous improvement in operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure all operational teams are trained and competent to perform tasks.
• Recognize and reward safe behaviors.
• Challenge and counsel improvements to eliminate unsafe behaviors.

Performance Report and Meeting:

• Establish a key performance report for the management committee on cold storage capacity.
• Present the report to management on a weekly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Other tasks assigned by the Director and management committees.

Quality Control

• Assist with external audit/customer visit and auditing.
• Maintain all QC policies and templates in consultation with all functions to apply for efficiency.
• Ensuring process flows are compliant with food safety and quality standards.
• Assist with orientation to the new team with relevant policy, guidelines to ensure that all relevant employees are familiar with existing policy and procedure changes.
• Document record control
• Coordinate / Assist in food safety / Quality project (GHPs, HACCP, ISO)
• Identify and implement ways of improvement for all stages of the processes. Departments responsible for operational mistakes that lead to loss or damage of items will suggest improvement plans.
• Be fully responsible for managing quality control operations.
• Maintains inventory control records and keeps inventory files up to date.
• Responsible for the day-to-day inventory operations/activities in the warehouse.
• Prepare reports, summaries, and analyses of inventory-related topics and issues, and communicate with appropriate management.
• Ensure a safe and healthy workplace and address compliance issues, implement and maintain safety and compliance procedures.

Procurement

• Coordinate, evaluate activities in buying materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies for warehouse operation to comply with company procurement policy.
• Maintains records of goods ordered and received.

Knowledge requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration or related discipline
• The successful candidate requires a valid driving license

Competency and Experience Requirement

• 05 years’ experience or more in warehouse management preferred
• Direct experience in temperature-controlled logistics – storage, handling and value added services
• Warehouse / inventory management software
