The Recruitment Manager will lead the full-cycle recruitment strategy and operations for ensuring the timely and high-quality staffing of all roles, with a specific focus on high-volume hiring for Branch and Field Operations (e.g., Loan Officers, Branch Managers). This role is critical for securing talent that aligns with the MFI’s social mission, ethical lending practices, and rigorous compliance standards.
- Workforce Planning: Collaborate with Senior Management and Department Heads (especially Operations/Branch Network) to forecast future staffing needs, particularly for rural and remote branch expansion.
- Recruitment Strategy: Design and implement a cohesive, cost-effective recruitment strategy for both high-volume (entry-level/field) and specialized/senior (finance, IT, risk) roles.
- Employer Branding: Promote the MFI as an employer of choice by highlighting its social mission, community impact, and career growth opportunities.
- Budget Management: Manage the recruitment budget, track expenditures, and analyze the cost-per-hire and time-to-hire metrics.
- End-to-End Recruitment: Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer negotiation, and hand-off to onboarding.
- High-Volume Sourcing: Develop effective channels for mass recruitment of Loan Officers/Credit Officers, including local partnerships, community outreach, regional job fairs, and targeted digital campaigns.
- Candidate Assessment: Ensure robust selection tools (e.g., practical tests, behavioral interviews) are in place to assess candidates for integrity, credit analysis skills, and cultural fit with the MFI’s values.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and evaluate the in-house recruitment team, ensuring high performance, efficiency, and adherence to best practices
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Proven experience in the Microfinance, Banking, or Financial Services industry is essential.
- Ability to manage high-volume, demand recruitment targets and adapt strategies for diverse geographical locations (urban and rural).
