We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Key Account Manager (KAM) to manage and grow key accounts in the HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants, and Catering) segment. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing long-term relationships with strategic customers and driving business growth in the food distribution sector.
Account Management:
- Manage and nurture relationships with key HoReCa clients across assigned territory.
- Understand client needs and propose tailored product solutions to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Act as the main point of contact for all commercial activities related to key accounts.
Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities within the HoReCa segment.
- Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients and grow wallet share within existing accounts.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends and potential areas for growth.
Sales Execution:
- Achieve sales targets, revenue goals, and margin objectives.
- Develop annual account plans including promotional calendars, pricing strategies, and volume forecasts.
- Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and service excellence.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, product, and finance teams to develop customized solutions for clients.
- Ensure alignment of brand and business objectives with customer requirements.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Monitor account performance, sales data, and KPIs regularly.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
- Analyze customer profitability and drive cost-effective solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in key account management, preferably in the food distribution or FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of managing HoReCa clients and achieving sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
- Self-motivated, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM systems is a plus.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
