Job Summary
  • Responsible for initiating, planning, developing and localizing/implementing the Sales programs which are in line with the Corporate/Regional strategies, to meet local market and distributor needs while at the same time continue to grow sales and its distributors ultimate business goals
  • Contribute to the development of sales targets based on forecasted market trends and distributor analysis and advises and consults senior management on current developments and trends, including distributor response/reaction
  • To plan and support the distributor network with the promotion of local, regional and word-wide events and incentives for the country, including organize corporate Opportunity Meeting, Success Training Seminar and trainings for distributors to grow sales and distributors base.
  • To expand and improve the communications channels between distributors and International by providing accurate, up-to-date and reliable information.
Responsibilities and Duties

Promotions and Distributor Incentives

  • Ensure that World-wide promotions are translated into the required local language, contents are localized, up-to-date, accurate, and clear and distributed in a timely manner to the distributor network through a variety of communication channels such as broadcast faxing, e-mail stream, voice messaging, internet websites, display in Distribution Center etc.
  • Ensure that distributors are recognized for their efforts and use Recognition to propel their business growth as well as congratulating them on stepping up to next level.
  • Monitor and report such efforts to General Manager and Regional Management.
  • Develop and implement in-country promotions and ensuring that such promotions are communicated to the Distributor network through the various communication channels.
  • Analyze sales and business trends and liaise closely with local leadership to keep abreast of trends and changes in the market place.
  • Ensure that flyers and other collateral materials created by Sales & Marketing Team to meet the standards expected – attractive, eye catching, accurate, clear & concise and completed within 4 hours on a normal business day.  Ensure that all Promotions be part of the Briefing Manual/Speaker’s package at Events.

Event Management

  • Support and assist in coordination of world-wide events by liasing with Corporate Events Department and Regional & International Sales & Communications by providing but not limited to language assistance and logistical coordination
  • Ensure that flyers and other information for world-wide events are translated into the required local language, content is localized, up-to-date, accurate, and clear and distributed in a timely manner to the distributor network through a variety of communication channel such as broadcast faxing, e mail stream. Voice messaging, HBN, internet websites, display in Distribution Center etc.
  • Negitiate with travel agents on packaging itineraries for distributor’s flight and accommodation for incentive trips and events.
  • Plan, implement and follow-up on local events to motivate, train and inspire local distributors and support them in increasing their momentum and business growth.
  • Take in the consideration the international distributors currently working in a new country, their experience can be beneficial  Event budgeting/costing and ticket sales analysis.

Communications Systems

  • Plan, develop, execute and manage various cost effective corporate to distributor network communications systems such as broadcast faxing, email stream, unified messaging, conference call system etc.

Recognition

  • Manage and supervise coordination of awards ranging from Supervisor, World Team, GET (Global Expansion Team) Team, Millionaire Team and President’s Team. Other special recognition based on local incentives and promotions. Ensure that there is a good range of flyers and other information materials displayed in a way to attract attention. Displays need to be consistently changes and updated and to keep the interest of distributors.
  • Ensure that TAB (Top Achievers Business) Team wall is maintained and regularly updated.
Qualifications and Skills
  • At least 8 years of work experience in sales & corporate events, 4 years in management position. Experience in Network Marketing/Direct Selling or FMCG or Retail Sales or Nutritional Food Industry would be an added advantage.
  • Must be bilingual with ability to read and write local language and English fluently.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office environment (Word, Excel, Power Point) and email.
  • Hand-on” but yet a good leader and motivator of a team with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Be sufficiently bi-cultural to be equally at ease and socially comfortable with the local team and distributors/customers plus other nationalities esp. International Distributors, within a multinational working environment
  • Must be customer service oriented and able to be flexible especially dealing with Local and International distributors.
  • Highly energetic and possessing the enthusiasm to understand the market thoroughly, as well as the ability to keep in the close contact with distributors/customers in order to gain first hand knowledge of market forces.
  • Ability to create new ideas and processes i.e. be creative, entrepreneurial, and with the ability to think “out of the box”.
  • Good problem solving skills and carry out responsibilities under minimum supervision.
  • Able to work in results orientated environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Require to work long hours and occasionally during week-end.
  • Travel will be required.
