The Junior WEP trainer will be assigned to the WEP team in the training department of Passerelles Numériques Cambodia.

The Junior WEP trainer provides high-quality training to students; conducts follow up and provides consultation in order to support the learning of students and achievements. She/he also produces required documents in accordance with the established teaching methodology, pedagogy, and curriculum.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, hands-on technical experience, and a commitment to fostering student success.

Under the supervision of WEP Coordinator, the Junior WEP Trainer will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Develop or update existing course material following our active learning strategies (games, exercises, challenges, projects…).
• Manage student assessments, grading.
• Monitor low student performance and follow them up closely.
• Technical curriculum: Algorithm, Python Html, CSS, JavaScript, VueJS, NodeJS, Laravel, Typescript.
• Support students and PNC to develop and effectively implement Tech.-real world projects in each term.
• Participate actively in PN Cambodia’s social missions, student follow-up, tutorship, virtual company, and student placement.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields.
• 2+ years of experience in WEP programming from company or higher education.
• Good level in Algorithm.
• Proficient in English, proficiency in French is a plus.
• Proficient in web development (PHP, JS, NodeJS, Laravel…).
• Motivated to work with underprivileged youth.
• Capacity to understand and explain technical concepts.
• Flexible, critical thinking, creative and autonomous, open to constructive feedback.
• Very strong ethical behavior and leadership on his/her area of ownership.
• Able to self-train quickly to new technologies.
