- Manage and ensure accurate preparation of all customs clearance documentation.
- Responsible for inputting and submitting customs declarations in the ASYCUDA system on a daily basis.
- Verify the accuracy of duty and tax calculations to ensure compliance.
- Establish, implement, and handle procedures for import and export clearance formalities.
- Liaise with customs officials to facilitate smooth cargo clearance and release processes.
- Coordinate with terminal operators regarding shipment and transshipment activities.
- Ensure full compliance with customs laws, regulations, and procedures to prevent violations.
- Proactively identify and prevent potential issues or delays in clearance processes.
- Manage classification of HS codes for commodities accurately.
- Maintain strong working relationships with customs authorities and relevant stakeholders.
- Communicate with clients to provide timely updates on clearance status.
- Address complex customs issues and provide effective solutions for clients.
- Lead and manage the customs clearance team to achieve operational targets.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their professional capabilities.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in customs clearance processes.
- Implement continuous improvements to optimize operations and reduce turnaround time.
- Follow management instruction and company's rule and regulation
- Bachelor's degree or above qualification.
- Holding customs broker license (is plus)
- Minimum 3-5years experience with customs clearance or working logistics company
- Languages : proficiency in Khmer and English.
- Strong knowledge of Cambodian customs procedures and regulations.
- Able to use Microsoft office (Able to Systematic approach is a plus)
- Be patient, self-motivated, and team-building capabilities.
- Have a good attitude towards work, be able to tackle difficult tasks with sincerity.
- Hard working and being able to work with shift schedules (including weekend and public holidays).
- Strong commitment to compliance and ethical business practices.
- Flexible working hours.
