A Sales Executive drives company revenue by acquiring new customers and managing existing client relationships. Key responsibilities include hitting sales targets, conducting product presentations, negotiating contracts, and performing market research. They work closely with marketing teams to implement strategies and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Target Achievement: Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Lead Generation: Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and industry events.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
- Sales Presentations: Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate contract terms and close sales to meet objectives.
- Market Analysis: Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and product updates.
- Reporting: Prepare accurate sales reports and maintain records in the CRM system
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience (typically 2+ years) as a Salesman or similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills
- Highly motivated with a track record of meeting targets
