To overall supervisor all the Food & Beverage Cashiers, Front Office Cashiers and other outlet Cashiers including training and scheduling, ensuring that all the outlets are manned with Cashiers as required and at the same time to take up a role as a bridge between the Cashiers and the Hotel Management. To ensure guest satisfaction through accurate billing and courteous manner and to satisfy.
To response the job requirements by the timely posting of all transactions and the responsibility handling of all monies.
Financial
- To ensure that there is adequate coverage for every shift of the week.
- To thoroughly understand all the jobs of the Food & Beverage Cashier, Front Office Cashier and other outlet Cashier and to be ready to replace them in case of emergency.
- To be responsible for all monies (cash float, collections, tips etc.) which will be handled when working as a Cashier.
- To post promptly all charges to in-house guest folios/city ledger after having ensured that the guest’s signature is legible and appropriate.
- To received and understand all group events orders in related to the meal coupons, covers and charges.
- To be aware of those guests who are on a ‘ Cash in Advance ‘ basis.
- To obtain and account for the correct settlement of all sales.
- To replenish and keep track of all transactions of tobacco being sold in the outlets.
- To replenish all outlet checks, house checks and other work forms for the Food & Beverage, Front Office Cashier and other outlet Cashiers.
- To assist the Income Auditor to sequentially control all pre-numbered collaterals and to follow up on any missing check.
- To assist the Income Auditor to review all house use and entertainment checks for propriety and to ensure that no check is missing.
- To assist the Income Auditor to check all banquet checks against event orders ensuring that no revenue is missing.
- To check the accuracy of all menu price set up in the system against the printed menus and to report to the Income Auditor for any irregularity.
- To liaise with the General Cashier for small change kept for the Food and Beverage Cashiers, Forex Cashier and other outlet Cashiers
- To completely GCR report to CA as daily basic.
Administration
- To assist in the training of employees ensuring that they have the necessary skill e.g. in identifying forged bank notes, verifying the cheques and credit cards, to perform their duties with the maximum efficiency.
General
- To provide and to ensure that all employees also provide courteous and professional service and to maintain good working relationship with all colleagues throughout the hotel.
- To report duty punctually wearing smart attire according to Hotel’s dress codes and name badge at all time.
- To witness the General Cashier’s counting of monetary receipts remitted by Cashiers.
- To be aware of and also ensure that all employees have a complete understanding of the hotel’s policies and procedures and to adhered to them.
- To have a complete understanding of the hotel’s policy relating to fire, safety and health.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- To respond to changes in departmental functions as dictated by the statutory regulations, industry, company or the hotel.
ADDITION DUTIES
- Any other job/tasks are required by Chief Accountant, DoFC
- Work overtime for special events which will be compensated within one month.
- All employees are required to comply with every reasonable request from their hierarchical supervisor(s) within an amount of time that it takes to comply under normal circumstances.
- All employees may be assigned to other duties in the hotel as and when required based on business demand.
- Minimum 3s years’ experience in cashier fields in standard hotel
- Bachelor degree in related hotel management as Accounting & Finance, discipline or equivalent education.
- Accounting system
- Computer skill (word, excel, power point, Email)
- Interpersonal and communication skill
- Friendly, responsible, and honesty
- Able to work flexible hour to meet the needs of the business
- Able to handle company and employee data with confidentially
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Good Administration skills
- Driver license
- Exceptional Khmer & English writing and oral skills
- Basic knowledge of Cambodian labor law.
