- Manage and ensure accurate preparation of clearance documentation.
- Set and handle the procedures for customs import and export formalities clearance.
- Responsible for inputting the customs declaration in the ASYCUDA system.
- Liaise with customs officials on the specific formality clearance process for cargo release.
- Coordinate with the terminal operator of the shipment transshipment.
- Manage searching for or classifying the HS code of a commodity.
- Check and ensure the accuracy of duty and tax calculations.
- Ensure compliance with customs, laws, regulations, and procedures to avoid any offenses.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with team members and relevant authorities for smooth job implementation.
- Ensure proactive prevention of any unexpected mistakes or problems to avoid any possible delays.
- Manage and lead teamwork to achieve the target
- Prepare and submit daily customs declarations.
- Handle the procedures for customs import and export formalities clearance.
- Coordinate and maintain positive relationships with customs officers.
- Communicate with clients and provide updates on customs clearance status.
- Identify and implement improvements for customs clearance efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with customs, laws, regulations, and procedures to avoid any offenses.
- Bachelor's degree or above qualification.
- Minimum 3-5years experience with customs clearance or working logistics company
- Have experience in management and leadership roles
- Knowing the import and export customs clearance process
- Be able to use and declare entry into the ASYCUDA system.
- Holding a customs broker license (is plus)
- Business level of Khmer and English (daily conversation level of Japanese is a plus)
- Able to use Microsoft Office (Able to Systematic approach is a plus)
- Excellent listening and questioning skills
- Have a good attitude towards work and be able to tackle difficult tasks with sincerity.
- Be patient, self-motivated, and have team-building capabilities.
- Hard working and being able to work with shift schedules (including weekend and public holidays).
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Cambodian customs procedures and regulations.
- Supervisory and team management potential.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in customs systems and Microsoft Office.
