The Store Manager oversees daily retail operations, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient store performance, and achievement of sales and profitability goals. He/she must have strong business acumen, in-depth product knowledge, and stay adaptable to trends in the furniture and bedding industry to maintain relevance with both new and existing customers. He/she has to be more proactive, customer-focused approach along with the ability to drive sales in a competitive market.
- Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth performance and top-tier customer service.
- Ensure showroom displays are visually appealing and aligned with brand standards.
- Manage inventory, stock levels, and coordinate timely deliveries and adjustments.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet targets, improve profitability, and drive growth.
- Lead in-store marketing initiatives, including pricing, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
- Foster customer loyalty by delivering exceptional service.
- Supervise and motivate a team of 45 staff, set KPIs, and conduct performance reviews.
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and continuous development to enhance sales and service skills.
- Monitor store budget and sales reports, providing insights to the Managing Director.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and competitive pricing.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a secure shopping environment.
- Manage other operational tasks as needed for both outlet and showroom locations.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- 3+ years’ experience as a Store or Branch Manager in retail, office furniture, bedding materials, or home decoration.
- Good leadership and operational expertise managing sales, installation, delivery, and store operations.
- Excellent people management skills with a problem-solving mindset.
- Strong track record in sales growth and creative marketing initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance suitable for representing premium products.
- Good English proficiency (spoken and written).
