Job Summary

As a dedicated Key Account Specialist (Channel Specialist), you will drive business's expansion and market penetration within a specific retail channel. You are responsible for the end-to-end process of identifying, engaging, onboarding, and nurturing key ecosystem stakeholders, effectively communicating business's innovative value proposition to foster lasting partnerships.

Expected Outcomes/Deliverables:

  • Achieve team KPIs
  • Successfully identify, qualify, and convert new partners within your channel.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting on sales activities and deals.
  • Build strong, lasting partner relationships, boosting retention.
  • Effectively communicate market feedback for strategic decisions.
Responsibilities and Duties

Channel Strategy & Lead Development:

  • Expertly identify and target potential partners within your assigned channel, developing strategic approaches to generate qualified leads and expand market footprint.

Partner Engagement & Sales Closure:

  • Lead the full sales cycle, from initial contact and value proposition delivery to needs assessment, proposal presentation, objection handling, and securing signed contracts.

Onboarding & Relationship Management:

  • Ensure seamless partner onboarding and cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships, providing feedback to management.

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records, manage pipeline, and provide regular updates on progress, insights, and challenges.

Team Collaboration:

  • Contribute to sales/marketing materials and potentially lead a small team in follow-up and closing efforts.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven B2B sales/BD/account management experience with strong target achievement.
  • Demonstrated channel specialization and excellence.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at pipeline management.
  • Strong problem-solving and proactive feedback addressing.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, independent yet collaborative.
  • Proficiency in data management/analysis (e.g., Excel).
  • Ability to articulate technical and financial benefits.
  • Prior team leadership/mentoring experience is a plus.
