The Site Manager is responsible for the overall management, coordination, and supervision of road and bridge construction activities on-site. This role ensures that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and local regulations.

Site Management & Operations

• Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities for road and bridge projects.
• Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, technical specifications, and construction schedules.
• Coordinate daily site operations, including manpower, machinery, materials, and subcontractors.
• Monitor work progress and report daily/weekly updates to the Project Manager.

Quality Control

• Ensure construction quality meets project requirements, standards, and contract specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure corrective actions are taken for non-conforming work.
• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and inspectors during site inspections.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Enforce site safety rules and company HSE policies at all times.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and ensure workers follow safe work procedures.
• Identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures to reduce site risks.

Planning & Coordination

• Assist in preparing work schedules, method statements, and site execution plans.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Resolve site issues related to technical, manpower, or operational challenges.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain site records, including daily reports, manpower logs, equipment usage, and material deliveries.
• Ensure proper documentation for inspections, approvals, and variations.
• Support handover documentation upon project completion

• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in road and bridge construction projects.
• Proven experience managing construction sites, preferably with local contractors or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of road works, earthworks, drainage, concrete works, and bridge structures.
• Strong leadership and site supervision skills.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment for road and bridge works.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, reporting).
