QC Manager (Quality Control Manager)

Quality Management

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures
• Ensure products meet internal standards and customer specifications
• Monitor production processes to ensure consistent quality output
• Establish inspection criteria and quality benchmarks

Team Leadership

• Manage and supervise QC inspectors and technicians
• Provide training and development for QC team members
• Set performance goals and conduct evaluations
• Build a strong local QC team (especially important in overseas factories)

Inspection & Testing

• Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections
• Ensure proper use of testing equipment and calibration
• Approve or reject raw materials and finished products

Customer & Audit Compliance

• Handle customer complaints and quality issues
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
• Prepare for and manage external audits (e.g. ISO, customer audits)
• Maintain documentation for compliance

Continuous Improvement

• Drive quality improvement initiatives
• Analyze quality data (defect rates, yield, etc.)
• Reduce waste, rework, and customer returns

Cross-functional Coordination

• Work closely with Production, PMC，IE, and Supply Chain teams
• Support new product development and process improvements
• Communicate quality issues to senior management

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field
• 5–10+ years of quality control/assurance experience
• At least 3 years in a managerial role
• Experience in manufacturing (garment, electronics, plastic, etc. depending on your factory)
