HVAC Engineering Manager

The HVAC Engineering Manager is responsible for leading all HVAC engineering activities at company, covering RAC, PAC, VRF, and other air-conditioning systems. The role focuses on technical assessment, system design, equipment selection, site engineering, and recommending suitable HVAC solutions based on project requirements. The position also serves as the company’s technical authority, providing professional engineering advice to internal teams, clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders while coordinating closely with Panasonic Cambodia on installation, testing, and commissioning.

• Lead and oversee HVAC engineering activities covering RAC, PAC, VRF, and other air-conditioning systems.
• Handle technical inquiries, conduct site assessments, evaluate project requirements, and recommend suitable engineering solutions.
• Lead HVAC system design, cooling load calculations, equipment selection, and preparation of technical proposals and BOQs.
• Recommend appropriate Panasonic models, equipment, and installation requirements based on project specifications and site conditions.
• Provide site engineering support, review site conditions, and ensure proposed HVAC designs are suitable for actual project requirements.
• Provide technical consultation and represent company in meetings with project owners, developers, consultants, contractors, and M&E engineers.
• Coordinate with Panasonic Cambodia on installation arrangements, site inspections, testing and commissioning (T&C), and technical issues.
• Support and monitor T&C activities, review technical results, and ensure project requirements are properly addressed.
• Lead, develop, and supervise the engineering team and report project progress to management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 7–10 years of HVAC engineering experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial or senior leadership position.
• Strong technical knowledge of RAC, PAC, VRF, and commercial air-conditioning systems.
• Proven experience in HVAC system design, cooling load calculations, equipment selection, and technical proposal preparation.
• Practical experience in site engineering, site assessment, installation requirements, testing, and commissioning (T&C).
• Experience reviewing technical drawings, evaluating site conditions, and recommending suitable engineering solutions.
• Experience managing engineering teams and supporting large-scale commercial or industrial HVAC projects is preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and relevant HVAC engineering software.
• Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Mature, confident, and professional, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior-level clients and decision makers.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
• Experience with Panasonic or other international HVAC brands is an advantage.
