The team strategically builds and manages the driver-partner ecosystem, turning data and market insights into actionable solutions that balance supply with customer demand that allow Grab Cambodia to achieve our mission of driving Southeast Asia forward, by serving the local communities.
Get to know the role:
Reporting to the Head of Supply Operation, Senior Associate, Supply Strategic is strategic problem-solver dedicated to optimizing driver-partner operations through ability to translate complex market challenges into clear, actionable strategies for leadership. The role will work in cross-functional orchestration, anticipating industry shifts, and driving high-impact initiatives that build a resilient and engaged supply network.
● Monitor Gig-Economy Market Dynamics: Conduct localized market research and track industry trends regarding driver-partner earnings, competitor incentive structures, vehicle ownership/rental trends, and regulatory shifts.
● Drive Supply-Side Business Analysis: Execute deep-dive analyses on high-impact strategic topics, such as supply-demand mismatch (surge, ETAs), driver churn, onboarding conversion funnels, and utilization rates.
● Deliver Actionable Supply Insights: Develop and present comprehensive reports on driver sentiment and supply health metrics to executive leadership and Operations teams, enabling effective tactical decisions for driver acquisition and retention.
● Optimize Operations via Data: Provide insightful, data-driven recommendations to the Operations team to support strategic planning, including targeted incentive budget allocation, pricing adjustments, and geographic supply positioning.
● Identify Supply Risks & Opportunities: Proactively flag operational risks (e.g., seasonal driver shortages, competitor poaching) and identify growth opportunities (e.g., integrating EVs, launching tier-based driver loyalty programs).
● Project Manage Cross-Functional Initiatives: Act as the PMO to structure and coordinate the end-to-end implementation of driver-facing initiatives, collaborating closely with relevant departments.
● Strong academic track record, with a degree in Finance/Business/Economics/Management
● Intellectually curious, highly analytical and able to problem solve, think & debate strategically
● Strong communicator (written and verbal)
● Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across functions at all levels of experience
