Role Overview:

The Position Expansion Executive is responsible for onboarding new merchants (MEX) onto the GrabFood platform. This includes initiating contact, building relationships, and ensuring a seamless onboarding process for merchants. The role requires strong communication skills with Chinese speaking, a proactive approach to merchant acquisition, and the ability to manage multiple onboarding tasks efficiently.

Merchant Engagement:

• Contact potential merchants (MEX) and introduce them to GrabFood services.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with merchants throughout the onboarding process.

Onboarding Process:

• Guide merchants through the onboarding steps to ensure they are successfully integrated into GrabFood.
• Collect and verify merchant information and documentation as required for setup.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with internal teams (e.g., operations, marketing) to ensure timely and accurate onboarding.
• Coordinate with merchants to address any questions or concerns during the onboarding process.

Performance Monitoring:

• Track onboarding progress and provide regular updates to the Merchant Acquisition Manager.
• Identify areas for improvement in the onboarding process and propose solutions.
• Qualifications:

Language Requirements:

• Must be proficient in Chinese and English/Local language to facilitate communication with a wide range of merchants.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Experience:

• Prefer 1-3 years of experience in merchant acquisition, business development, or a similar role.

Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using CRM tools and basic knowledge of merchant onboarding systems.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
