The role is responsible for supporting day-to-day human resources operations in the factory, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, compliance with labor laws, and administrative HR tasks to ensure smooth workforce management.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Handle recruitment for workers, operators, and staff positions
- Coordinate interviews and selection process
- Prepare employment contracts and onboarding documents
- Conduct new employee orientation
Attendance
- Maintain attendance records (fingerprint system / manual)
- Support payroll processing (OT, allowances, deductions)
- Ensure accurate and timely salary payments
- Coordinate with finance team
Employee Relations
- Handle worker complaints and grievances
- Support disciplinary actions and investigations
- Maintain good communication between workers and management
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities
Labor Law Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws (e.g., Cambodia Labor Law)
- Prepare documents for labor inspections
- Manage contracts, probation, and termination processes
- Support audits (e.g., SMETA, customer audits)
Training & Development
- Coordinate internal training programs
- Track training records
- Support skill development initiatives for workers
HR Administration
- Maintain employee files and HR database
- Prepare HR reports (headcount, turnover, absenteeism)
- Manage leave records (annual leave, sick leave, etc.)
Health, Safety & Welfare
- Support EHS team on worker safety programs
- Assist in managing worker welfare (canteen, dormitory, transport if applicable)
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field Experience
- At least 1–3 years HR experience (factory experience preferred) Skills
- Knowledge of labor law and HR practices
- Good communication skills (Khmer + basic English/Chinese is a plus)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Familiar with HR/payroll systems
