The Customs Clearance Specialist is responsible for managing the legal requirements of moving goods across international borders. This includes preparing and submitting necessary documentation, determining appropriate tariff classifications, calculating duties and taxes, and maintaining compliance with all national and international trade regulations.

• Prepare and process Customs Entry/Declaration forms
• Review commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading, and Certificates of Origin for accuracy.
• Submit electronic declarations via automated systems and classify goods using system.
• Determine the correct customs value of goods to ensure accurate duty payment.
• Advise clients on import/export restrictions, quotas, and licensing requirements.
• Maintain accurate records for audit purposes as required by law.
• Act as the primary point of contact for Customs officials during inspections or audits.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and warehouse staff to ensure timely release of cargo.
• Arrange for the payment of duties and taxes on behalf of the client.
• Other task will be assigned by management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• At least 2-year experiences with customs.
• Knowledge of local and international maritime/air transport laws.
• Proficiency in customs software
• Strong attention to detail (to avoid costly clerical errors).
• Problem-solving skills to handle shipment delays or disputes.
• Excellent communication skills for negotiating with officials and advising clients.
