1. Team Leadership & Supervision:

• Supervise, guide, and motivate the Operations team to achieve departmental goals.
• Plan and assign daily tasks to ensure smooth handling of air import/export shipments.
• Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and support staff development.
• Ensure all operations are carried out according to company SOPs and service standards. 

2. Freight Operations Management:

• Oversee and coordinate end-to-end freight fowarding processes (booking, cargo acceptance, documentation, customs clearance, delivery)
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of MAWB, HAWB, manifest, invoice, and related shipping documents.
• Ensure all documentation complies with customs and airline requirements.
• Coordinate closely with airlines, ground handlers, and trucking partners for cargo movement.
• Resolve operational issues such as shipment delays, space constraints, or cargo discrepancies

3. Customer Service & Communication:

• Act as the key contact point for customers and internal departments on operational matters.
• Provide proactive shipment updates and handle escalations effectively.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, airlines, and overseas agents.
• Support the Sales and Customer Service teams with technical shipment information and rates when required.

4. Compliance & Quality Control:

• Ensure all air shipments comply with IATA regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
• Review and verify documentation accuracy before submission.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service quality.
• Ensure proper filing, record keeping, and system updates

5. Reporting & Cost Control:

• Monitor operational KPIs and prepare regular performance reports for management.
• Verify supplier invoices, airline charges, and ensure cost accuracy.
• Support management in optimizing profitability and cost efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree or related field of Logistics, Business.
• Over 5 years of experience in air freight/sea freight operations, including team management
• Strong knowledge of air cargo handling, IATA standards, and customs procedures.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics systems.
• Good command of English (spoken and written)
