JOB SUMMARY:

The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of Executive Office’s projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. This role requires effective collaboration with various departments to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget. The Project Manager will lead the project management team, report directly to the EA, and provide regular updates on progress, risks, and opportunities.

JOB SCOPE:

The Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of project delivery including project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication. The role ensures that all projects align with the company’s strategic goals, and are executed within defined timelines and budgets. The Project Manager will also develop and implement project management best practices across the company.

Responsibilities and Duties

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Define project scopes, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Allocate resources effectively and manage project teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays or failures.
  • Maintain clear, transparent, and proactive communication with stakeholders including the CEO, board members, and external partners.
  • Monitor project performance through regular status updates, key performance indicators (KPIs), and post-project evaluations.
  • Work closely with various departments to ensure alignment of project goals with business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the end-to-end project life cycle from concept to completion.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure projects are aligned with organizational strategy.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and risk assessments to guide project teams.
  • Regularly review project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful delivery.
  • Implement project management tools and methodologies to improve efficiency and accountability.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors as needed.
  • Ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are met for each project.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving within the project team.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for the project management team.

  • Risk Mitigation: Early identification and resolution of project risks, ensuring minimal disruption.

  • Leadership & Team Management: Demonstrates effective leadership by fostering a collaborative and high-performing project team.
  • Strategic Alignment: Ensures that projects contribute to the company’s overall goals and objectives.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field (PMP certification preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in travel, tourism, or a related industry.
  • Other Skills
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Expertise in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar).
  • Proficient in budget management and cost control.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
