The Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote English Language Training programs and attract students. The role focuses on building brand awareness, strengthening partnerships with schools and universities, and driving student enrollment through targeted campaigns, digital marketing, and outreach events.
This position requires creativity, strong communication skills, and the ability to balance both digital and on-the-ground marketing to support the project’s enrollment and growth objectives.
Marketing Strategy & Campaigns
- Develop and implement annual/quarterly marketing strategies to achieve student enrollment targets.
- Conduct market research on English training demand, competitor offerings, and pricing trends.
- Identify target segments (high school students, university students, professionals) and design campaigns accordingly.
- Prepare marketing calendars, campaign timelines, and promotional schedules for activities.
- Provide input to management on the strategic positioning of courses within the education market
Digital Marketing & Content Management
- Create, manage, and update content across the company’s website, social media platforms, and other online channels.
- Develop and run targeted digital campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads) to increase inquiries and leads.
- Optimize SEO/SEM to improve online discoverability of courses.
- Produce engaging content such as student testimonials, success stories, video highlights, and graphics to attract students.
- Monitor and analyze digital marketing performance, providing reports and recommendations for improvement.
Student Recruitment Outreach
- Collaborate with schools, universities, and training centers to promote programs through presentations, career fairs, and networking events.
- Support HR recruitment outreach when staff positions or teaching roles are posted.
- Build strong relationships with student associations and academic institutions for ongoing referral pipelines.
- Manage Telegram, Facebook, and email groups dedicated to student communications and updates.
- Develop and maintain a database of student leads and track the recruitment funnel(inquiries → applications → enrollments).
Event Marketing & Coordination
- Organize and promote events such as placement tests, scholarship launches, openhouses, and student seminars.
- Prepare event marketing collateral (flyers, banners, digital posters) for distributiononline and offline.
- Coordinate event logistics including venue booking, registration, invitations, and follow-up communication.
- Manage student engagement activities during events to maximize participation andretention.
- Collect participant feedback and analyze event outcomes to improve future activities.
Branding & Communication
- Ensure consistent brand identity of the project across all promotional channels.
- Develop brochures, newsletters, and student handbooks to communicate program details.
- Work with design and creative teams to produce marketing collateral (infographics, posters, videos).
- Manage press releases and media communication related to initiatives.
- Highlight key achievements of the project (e.g., student success stories, partnerships, milestones) to enhance visibility.
Partnership Development
- Identify and build relationships with schools, universities, NGOs, and private organizations to expand the reach of programs.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to co-organize campaigns, workshops, and training sessions.
- Negotiate and manage promotional partnerships to increase visibility and enrollment opportunities.
- Represent the company at networking events and education•fairs to promote courses.
Reporting & Analytics
- Track and report on key performance indicators (leads generated, conversion rates,event turnout, digital engagement).
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on marketing activities and outcomes formanagement review.
- Use data insights to refine marketing strategies and improve campaign ROI.
- Maintain accurate records of campaigns, student leads, and outreach activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in marketing, preferably in education, training, or serviceindustries.
- Strong digital marketing skills (Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, SEO/SEM, emailmarketing).
- Proficiency in content creation and campaign management.
- Experience in student recruitment campaigns, event organization, and partnershipbuilding.
- Excellent communication skills in Khmer and English (written and spoken).
- Creative, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of design/editing tools (Canva, Photoshop,Illustrator, or similar) is an advantage.
