The Head of Product is responsible for leading the strategic development, implementation, and management of financial products and services. This role supports the VP of Operations in driving operational excellence, business growth, and product innovation, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and market demands.

Operational Leadership

• Assist the VP of Operations in leading and managing overall operations, including loan disbursement planning, loan quality management, and loan collection to ensure productivity, portfolio quality, and profitability.
• Translate strategic directions from the VP of Operations into actionable operational plans and ensure timely execution across branches.

Business Development & Strategy

• Support the VP in developing strategies, new product policies, procedures, and processes to drive sustainable business growth.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and strengthen loan disbursement performance.

Planning, Coordination & Monitoring

• Coordinate with Branch Managers and Auto Loan Managers to ensure effective disbursement planning and repayment quality control.
• Regularly review the implementation of disbursement plans, ensuring targets are achieved and aligned with the business plan.
• Work closely with the Deputy/Head of NPL to monitor delinquency and implement effective control measures.

Staff Management & Capacity Building

• Manage, coach, and evaluate operational staff to achieve maximum performance, while providing necessary guidance and support.
• Collaborate with HR to recruit, train, and develop staff, ensuring they are well-equipped with the required knowledge, skills, and professionalism.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure staff adherence to policies and operational standards.

Risk & Quality Assurance

• Review loan documents and conduct field assessments for client appraisal based on loan size, ensuring thorough verification of client business and loan quality.
• Oversee compliance with product policies, procedures, and processes, ensuring strict adherence across the operations division.
• Coordinate operational control system reviews and recommend enhancements to ensure robust risk management.

Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, local authorities, and other stakeholders to support loan assessment, disbursement, and collateral management.

Administrative & Other Duties

• Support the VP of Operations in preparing operational reports, business analysis, and strategic recommendations.
• Participate in cross-departmental coordination with HR, Product Development, and Marketing for operational success.
• Perform loan approvals within assigned authority limits.
• Undertake other tasks as assigned by the VP of Operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Banking & Finance, or a related field (master’s degree is an advantage).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, with at least 3 years in branch supervision or leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of financial products, customer behavior, and market dynamics.
• Proven leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in both Khmer and English.
