From the perspective that finance is essentially an IT business, the IT Director in this role will lead core-banking system operations and new projects while establishing and executing the organization's overall digital strategy. Leading the IT team with strong leadership, they will support business growth by implementing finance-specific solutions including Loan origination projects, data warehouse construction, and AI modeling. We are seeking a leader who can deliver results that meet the high expectations of C-level executives, particularly the Korean CEO, and who can work diligently under pressure. This position will lead the future of financial IT through strategic decision-making and cross functional collaboration.

System Operations and Optimization

• Financial core-banking system operation and optimization: Maintaining stability of existing systems and leading digital upgrades
• Win-sol app (Total loan management digitalization solution), management and enhancement

New Project Management

• Loan origination system development and adding functionality to Win-Sol App
• Complete lifecycle management of financial IT projects including data warehouse projects and AI modeling (planning, execution, monitoring)

Strategy Development and Execution

• Digital transformation strategy development and execution: Developing financial roadmaps utilizing AI, cloud, and other technologies, with particular consideration for financial regulatory compliance

Team Management and Leadership

• IT team management and leadership: Strengthening team capabilities through personnel management, budget allocation, and performance evaluation

Collaboration and Communication

• Cross-functional collaboration: Communicating with business stakeholders (non-IT departments) by translating IT terminology into plain language for digital solution integration

Performance Management

• Performance measurement and reporting: Setting KPIs, analyzing project ROI, and reporting to executives (including CEO)

Innovation and Risk Management

• Innovation promotion and risk management: Market trend analysis, new technology adoption, and ensuring data privacy and cybersecurity compliance

Education

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Financial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred)

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in financial IT
• 5+ years of director-level leadership experience
• Essential experience leading core-banking operations, loan origination, data warehouse, and AI modeling projects
