Job Summary
  • The communication manager is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies to promote organisation's brand, products, and/or services. This includes managing internal and external communication channels, such as press releases, social media, and newsletters.
  • He/she also oversees public relations activities, media relations, and crisis communication procedures.
  • The communications manager plays a key role in shaping the public image and reputation of the organisation. He/she works closely with the CEO, COO, and other departments to ensure consistent messaging and effective communication with various stakeholders.
  • He/she plays cricial role shaping public image of the organisation and maintaining positive relativesips with stakeholders.
  • The Communications Manager will collaborate with various departments to align communication efforts with organisational goals and objectives.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to promote Company's brand, products, and services.
  • Manage internal communication channels, including employee newsletters, intranet, and staff meetings.
  • Oversee external communication efforts, such as press releases, media relations, and social media platforms.
  • Coordinate public relations activities, including media outreach, press conferences, and social responsibilities events, advising Company on ethical framework for the benefit of the community.
  • Monitor and analyse communication strategies to evaluate and compare the effectiveness of communication strategies.
  • Serve as a spokesperson for the organization and handle media inquiries as needed.
  • Contribute to crisis management processes and develop response plans for potential risks.
  • Collaborate with COO and
  • Deputy CEO other departments to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, mainly with airlines company and freighters and formulate best practices in communication to continuously improve our brand.
  • Manage a team of communication professionals and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Maintain close relationship with States Secretariat of Civil Aviation spokesperson.

MAIN AREAS OF JOB PERFORMANCE:

  • Developing communication strategies to align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Creating and managing content for various communication channels, such as social media, websites, newsletters, and press releases.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with media outlets to secure positive coverage and manage any negative publicity.
  • Developing and implementing communication plans to address crises and manage the organization's reputation during challenging times.
  • Ensuring effective communication within the organization to keep employees informed and engaged.
  • Engaging with key stakeholders, Government bodies, SSCA, partners, and investors, to build relationships and promote the Company brand.
  • Maintaining and enhancing the Company brand through consistent messaging and storytelling.
  • Monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of communication efforts to make data-driven decisions and continuously improve strategies. These areas encompass the core responsibilities of a communication manager and are essential for effectively managing communication within an organization.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing communication strategies.
  • Strong understanding of government regulations on foreign nationals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities with time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in crisis communication and media relations is a plus.
  • Excellent people skills with patience and diplomacy.
  • High ethical standards and ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Khmer, English
