Job Summary
The Marketing Assistant will support the school in developing and executing marketing activities to promote programmes and increase student enrollment. The role focuses on content creation, digital marketing, campaign execution, event coordination, and administrative support to strengthen the company’s brand awareness and engage prospective students, parents, and the wider community.
This position requires creativity, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to support both digital and on-the-ground marketing activities in a dynamic education environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
Marketing Strategy & Campaigns
- Assist in conducting market research on competitor schools, course offerings, pricing, and student demand.
- Help prepare marketing calendars, campaign timelines, and promotional schedules for student recruitment and enrollment activities.
- Support the identification and segmentation of target audiences, including children, teenagers, university students, working professionals, and parents.
- Provide administrative support for the development and implementation of annual and quarterly marketing plans.
Digital Marketing & Content Management
- Assist in creating, scheduling, and updating content across school's website, social media platforms, and other digital channels.
- Support the execution of digital campaigns to increase enquiries, trial-class registrations, and student enrollments.
- Assist in producing engaging content such as class activities, student testimonials, highlights, videos, graphics, and school updates.
- Monitor digital marketing performance and assist in preparing basic reports and data analysis.
Student Recruitment & Outreach
- Assist in coordinating promotional activities with schools, universities, communities, and other relevant organizations.
- Support outreach activities to promote school's programmes and encourage prospective students to attend trial classes or consultations.
- Manage and update prospective student communication channels, including Telegram, Facebook, email, and other approved platforms.
- Support the maintenance of the enquiry and leads database and assist in tracking the conversion journey from enquiry to enrollment
Event Marketing & Coordination
- Assist in organizing and promoting school events such as open houses, trial classes, workshops, student activities, and promotional events.
- Prepare event marketing collateral, including flyers, banners, digital posters, and registration materials.
- Support event logistics, including venue preparation, registration tracking, coordination with internal teams, and follow-up communication.
- Help collect participant feedback and assist with the basic analysis of event outcomes.
Branding & Communication
- Support the consistent application of school's brand identity across all promotional and communication channels.
- Assist in developing brochures, course information, newsletters, and other materials to communicate school's programmes and services.
- Coordinate with relevant internal teams and external suppliers for the production of marketing materials.
- Assist in ensuring marketing communications are accurate, engaging, and appropriate for students and parents.
Community & Partnership Development
- Provide administrative support in identifying potential schools, communities, businesses, and other partners for outreach and promotional activities.
- Assist in coordinating co-organized activities, workshops, and campaigns with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support relationship-building activities and represent school at relevant education, community, and networking events as required.
Reporting & Analytics
- Assist in tracking and compiling data on key performance indicators, including enquiries, trial-class registrations, enrollments, digital engagement, and event participation.
- Help prepare monthly and quarterly reports on marketing activities and campaign performance for management review.
- Maintain accurate records of campaigns, prospective student leads, events, and outreach activities.
General
- Perform other tasks as reasonably instructed by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential requirements (skills, knowledge experience, & qualification(s)):
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing, content creation, or an administrative support role in education, training, or service industries is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing concepts, including social media, content marketing, email marketing, and online advertising.
- Excellent communication skills in Khmer and English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with social media management tools.
- Detail-oriented, creative, and able to manage multiple tasks under supervision.
Desirable requirements
- Knowledge of design/editing tools (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar) is an advantage.
- Interest in the education and English language learning industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with academic and administrative teams.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and a fast-paced school environment
