- The Regional Manager is responsible for leading, supervising, and developing the sales and promotion teams within assigned provinces. This role ensures strong market performance, effective product promotion, timely payment collection, and professional relationship management with distributors, depots, and farmers. The Regional Manager must be able to train staff, communicate in English, and bring solid industry experience to drive company growth.
Team Leadership & Staff Training
- Lead and supervise Sales Officers, Field Promoters, and regional staff.
- Conduct regular staff training on product knowledge, sales skills, promotion standards, and company policies.
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching to improve weak areas.
- Ensure all team members follow company standards during field activities, depot visits, and farmer meetings.
Sales & Market Management
- Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets across assigned regions.
- Monitor depot and distributor stock levels, sales trends, and demand changes.
- Identify areas with dropping sales and implement immediate corrective actions.
- Manage new product launches, ensuring placement, follow-up, and feedback collection.
Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with distributors, depots, retailers, and key farmers.
- Support partners with product recommendations, technical knowledge, and solution- based guidance.
- Handle complaints and provide timely solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
Payment Collection & Follow-Up
- Ensure timely payment collection based on company credit policy.
- Track outstanding balances and coordinate with accounting to clear overdue payments.
- Work with depots to improve payment speed and reduce risks.
Reporting & Communication
Prepare weekly and monthly reports on sales performance, depot status, competitor activity, and market updates.
Communicate with management in English when required (meetings, email, reporting).
Provide strategic recommendations for marketing, promotion, and sales improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, Marketing, or related fields (preferred).
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in pesticides, fertilizer, or agricultural products.
- Strong English communication skills (speaking and writing).
- Experience in staff training and team leadership.
- Good knowledge of Cambodian agricultural practices and key crops.
- Ability to travel frequently to provinces.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and negotiation skills.
