Job Summary

To promote and secure business from both new and existing customers and to manage the relationship of all borrowing accounts in the assigned loan portfolio.
To perform branch’s assignments in accordance with Head Office’s directives, regulatory guidelines and requirements and prudent practice to achieve the business and profit objectives of Branch

Responsibilities and Duties

To conduct credit analysis and gather all related data on borrower’s business activities and financial performance in writing Credit Application
To conduct site visit to visualize borrower’s business activities at least once a year and conduct call report within 3 days after the completion of site visit
To verify data submitted by the borrower by checking with relevant data from market condition, news releases, industry experts
To conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) process
To coordinate with relevant departments/parties in preparing legal documentation and collateral valuation
To complete Credit Risk Rating (CRR) of borrower based on the latest financials or Alternative Credit Rating as per the bank’s CRR guideline
To ensure compliance with laws and regulations, relevant Branch’s policy and guidelines and credit approval conditions
To conduct and review to ensure that the customer complies with the approved terms and conditions as per the required frequency (monthly, quarterly, semi-quarterly, and yearly)
To conduct annual credit review (yearly)
To monitor and manage the irregularities in usage of credit facilities (over limit, overdue and bills transactions)
To conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly report to NBC/ Head office
To keep all credit files adequately organized and up to date
To monitor loan repayment activities and take necessary actions to collect overdue transactions in consultation with Marketing Manager
To report all potential problem accounts to the Marketing Manager once an early sign of problem appears and work out the strategy with the Marketing Manager and other relevant departments by determining the magnitude of the problem, identifying the cause of the problem, setting up the solution with the borrower to correct the situation, and collecting the problem loans.
Perform other task as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
