Job Summary

Applications are sought from customer – orientated and motivated individuals who would like a career with CROWN Beverage Cans Maker, one of the world’s packaging leaders. Part of CROWN Asia operations, we are the manufacturing plant producing aluminum beverage cans and ends in Cambodia.

We are looking for candidates of higher caliber to join us and to build a local team that will provide world-class products and service to our international customer base. Qualified candidates (both Cambodians and expatriates) are invited to apply for the position of QA Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties

The QA Manager will lead and manage all Quality Assurance (QA) and Customer Technical Service (CTS) functions to ensure product compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Act as the primary interface with customers on quality and technical matters, driving continuous improvement and supporting operational excellence in can manufacturing.

  • Ensure service support is provided on Quality Assurance to other departments and customers when needed.
  • Conduct regular process audits to ensure that quality procedures are complied by production and engineering teams.
  • Initiate comprehensive internal quality audit program in compliance with plant requirements.
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance procedures, methods, facility and equipment to meet customer requirements.
  • Establish, maintain and improve the plant system on rework and recovery of on-hold and rejected products into usable and saleable products. Provide timely disposition on non-conforming products or purchased materials.
  • Provide analytical method or conduct analysis on internal and customer quality problems, defective materials and claims, to advise plant management and manufacturing department on the results of such analysis and coordinate action plan, such as heel dents and high ER.
  • To provide and update the feedback system on identification of probable causes of process variations. To coordinate SPC application in manufacturing processes and action plan on CPK improvement. Urgently update on abnormal, upward or downward trend on CPK during construction meeting.
  • To provide advice to production and other service departments regarding improvement on product quality. Coordinate with all functions on problem solving and product quality improvement. Weekly quality meeting and Customer feedback.
  • Provide regular update to plant management on developments in product quality and costs of quality. Monthly report on customer negative feedback and potential claim(s).
  • Prepare monthly executive reports on the quality of raw materials, in-process and finished products. Monthly report, AP report – Cpk, HFI, Return, SCAR,
  • Update and train QA personnel regarding new developments on laboratory techniques, quality and process procedures. SOP procedure, One-point lesson
  • Establish and maintain customer programs in-plant relating to quality in conjunction with Commercial Department.
  • To guide and establish an effective calibration program for all measuring equipment in the plant. Calibration plan.
  • To coordinate plant preparation for all customer audits and quality certification audit. AP audit, ISO Audit, FSSC Audit, SGP Audit, other customer audits.
  • Perform individual assignments as Management may direct.
  • Ensure the work results are in accordance with the specified standards including team member's work performance.
  • Supervise work processes and provide directive for staff or team's improvement if needed.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Engineering graduate or Higher Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Chemical / Food Technology Engineering.
  • Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in quality management within manufacturing, preferably in can making, packaging, or FMCG
  • sectors.
  • Experience in customer technical service and direct customer support.
  • Proven track record in managing audits, certifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Not suffer from blindness nor acrophobic.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage.
