As a dedicated Key Account Specialist (Channel Specialist), you will play a pivotal and comprehensive role in driving business’s expansion and market penetration within a specific retail or corporate channel. You will be responsible for the end-to-end process of identifying, engaging, onboarding, and nurturing key ecosystem stakeholders, including retailers, corporate partners, and ultimately, contributing to the consumer user base. Your expertise will be crucial in effectively communicating and demonstrating the innovative value proposition of business's solutions, ensuring seamless integration, and fostering lasting partnerships.
Strategic Channel Management & Market Expansion:
- Act as the primary representative and expert for a designated retail or corporate channel.
- Proactively identify and target potential retail and corporate partners that align with business's strategic goals for your specialized channel.
- Develop and refine strategic approaches for engaging your assigned channel, leveraging market insights and evidence, to generate a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to penetrate new markets and customer segments, expanding business's footprint and market reach through strategic partnerships.
Full-Cycle Partner Engagement & Value Proposition Delivery:
- Initiate contact with potential partners (in-person, phone, email, etc.) to introduce business's solutions.
- Effectively communicate and demonstrate the comprehensive value proposition of business, tailoring the message to the specific needs and pain points of your channel.
- Conduct detailed needs assessments and site surveys (for retailers) to understand specific requirements and finalize solution specifications.
- Present customized business's solution proposals, including configurations, pricing, and terms, addressing any questions or objections.
- Guide partners through the entire sales closing process, assisting with agreement details and securing signed contracts.
Onboarding & Relationship Building:
- Successfully onboard new partners, ensuring a seamless integration process with business's platform and systems.
- Establish and cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within your channel.
- Actively listen to partner feedback, address concerns, and relay insights to the management team to inform product and strategy development.
Reporting, Pipeline Management & Performance Tracking:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all activities, pipeline status, and closed deals in the designated reporting system.
- Provide regular updates to the Brand Manager and HQ team, presenting progress, key insights, and challenges from your channel's activities.
- Develop and manage a robust pipeline of prospects, ensuring consistent progression of leads through the sales cycle.
Content Collaboration & Team Leadership (Potential):
- Assist in generating and refining sales and marketing materials that effectively outline LocStoc’s values and solutions for your specific channel.
- Potentially lead and mentor a small team to follow-up and contact qualified retailers, guiding them to progress sales cycles and assist with closing processes.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management, with a strong track record of achieving targets.
- Demonstrated ability to specialize and excel within a specific industry vertical or channel.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail in tracking progress and managing pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing partner feedback and objections.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently while also collaborating effectively with internal teams.
- Proficiency in Excel for accurate data management and analysis.
- Ability to understand and articulate technical specifications (for business solutions) and financial benefits (e.g., potential rental income).
- Prior experience in leading or mentoring a team is a plus for future growth within the role.
