Responsibilities and Duties
- Teaching Khmer by the given framework and philosophies of the school
- Plan for teaching pupils, materials , and learning environment that support teaching practices
- Displays solid knowledge in regard to course content and curriculum design and incorporates this knowledge into planning and preparation.
- Plans for a wide range of effective pedagogical approaches in the discipline to engage students in the learning process.
- Is knowledgeable in regard to language proficiency
- Plans and prepares for the use of varied and appropriate resources, to support instructional outcomes, extend content knowledge, and engage students in meaningful learning.
- Establishes an emotionally safe environment based on mutual respect, warmth, fairness, and strong relationships amongst all.
- Establishes and implements classroom behavioral expectations that clearly outline norms and consequences, respecting school-wide rules as appropriate.
- Provides a physically safe space for student learning and organizes furniture, resources, and student work to support and promote learning.
Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelor’s degree in education and/ or certificate of pedagogy.
- Completed training as a Khmer Secondary Teacher or Certificate of Pedagogy
- Be able to communicate in English
- Computer literacy in Windows, MS Office
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in Secondary school.
- Possess good communication skills, be friendly, and love the students.
- Demonstrate evidence of innovating and adapting curricula to engage children and enable them to perform highly
