Job Summary

The Marketing Manager will be an inspiring, energetic, creative and innovative leader. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a marketing and communications strategy, in support of our strategic aims and vision for the development of the school.
To take the lead in creating, developing, implementing and managing the school’s marketing and communications strategies in order to support the achievement of the school’s strategic objectives. This will include student recruitment and retention and communications and management strategies.
This is a truly super opportunity where you will be responsible for raising awareness of the school, including its reputation locally and in the Japan. Working in close collaboration with the relevant directors and your support team, including the school Registrar, Alumni Officer

Responsibilities and Duties

Take responsibility for annual marketing plan, strategy, and budget optimizing existing marketing strategies.
Developing new, effective marketing strategies and overseeing their implementation.
Creating emotional and motivational stories that will encourage students to choose our school
Choosing the best marketing channels to promote our school.
Strong academic/professional credentials in Marketing and Communications and/or related areas is desirable.
Proven experience of having successfully developed and implemented a corporate marketing and communications strategy with particular emphasis on the use of social media and other new channels.
Managing and advertising budgets according to the school’s goals and priorities.
Creating documentation for proper marketing strategy implementation.
Ensuring all marketing collateral is in sync with the school’s branding guidelines.
Drive the implementation of marketing campaigns that meet student recruitment including school visit and open house.
Create digital and non-digital marketing materials including video and brochure.
Identify competitors and evaluate their strategies and positioning and devise counterstrategies.
Build long term relationships with clients, government officials and stakeholders of the ministries and private sectors in Cambodia.
Promote KIT’s partnerships with schools, universities, government institutes and the business sector.
Works directly with senior management of the organization to develop marketing programs, design marketing strategies, and implement marketing campaigns.
Provides leadership and direction in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the strategic marketing plan for the organization.
Establishes and implements short and long run marketing goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for the organization; evaluates program effectiveness and effects changes required for improvement.
Provides support for promotional special events such as open houses, book signings, fundraisers, outreach and community events, tours, press conferences, banquets, exhibits, product or service fairs, and athletic events.
Serves as public information contact, as appropriate, for the organization, and maintains communications with university constituencies.
Conducts market research and analysis, and establishes data management and tracking systems to improve the organization's marketing efforts.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related fields
Prefer a Master’s degree from repute university in local or an international accredited institution in Marketing or related fields.
At least 5 years in relevant industrial in the management level
Must have a proven track record in education marketing
Significant experience of working at the management level in a marketing and communications leadership role with a diverse range of responsibilities
