Job Summary

The Head of Business Development : end-to-end responsibility, covering P&L, Revenue Management, Market Access, Customer/Client Management, Contract Sales Development, New Product Launches, In-licensing of new Products, Agency Development, Regulatory Affairs, Sales Force Effectiveness and Capability Building. To plan, lead, and manage all sales and marketing activities of Cambodia Business for all business Units to enhance profitability for products and services of the existing business as well as the new business.

Responsibilities and Duties

Sales and Marketing Management

  • Conceptualizes and implements sales and marketing strategies and programs aligned with long-term business plan
  • Develops a full strategic product marketing plan from conception to launch.
  •  Leverage all Marketing tools and channels including Digital Marketing and E-Commerce
  •  Leading Trade strategy and commercial policy management.

Market & Consumer research

  •  Understands, anticipates customer needs; uses fact-based research to identify market opportunities.
  • Tracks and analyzes competitor’s product and service performance vs. own portfolio

People Management skills

  •  Recruit the right people, train and develop them.
  • Lead, motivate and appraise the performance of team to ensure delivery of expectations and good results.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures and ensure they are communicated and implemented within the team

Financial Management

  • Ensures profitability of products and services managed (GP, Opex, ROI on programs implemented, etc.)
  • Develops a pricing approach based on validated research and analysis of market dynamics. P&L Management
Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing and sales management with pharmaceutical trading business and/or FMCG in an international environment. Experience in Cambodia is a pre.
  • Experience in leading large teams and in holding P& ;L responsibility
  • Strong stakeholder management skills; comfortable in questioning, challenging and inspiring people; comfortable in interacting with business leaders, customers and others vendor compliance, cross-border data transfers, and regulatory audits
