We are looking for two Manual Test Engineers based in Cambodia to join the Sentinel team. The role involves manual testing of an internally developed traffic penetration testing platform used to identify and detect fraudulent messaging traffic across mobile networks.

The primary focus of the role is SMS testing. However, testing activities may also include other traffic types and communication channels, such as voice, RCS, WhatsApp, and similar services.

The successful candidates will execute predefined test scenarios using Android devices, while also researching and identifying new services, brands, and user journeys to expand test coverage and discover additional ways to generate and test traffic.

The role is operational and hands-on, requiring candidates who are detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable following structured test procedures. The team works closely with a Swedish-based DevOps organization, making good English communication skills essential.

• Execute predefined manual test cases using Android smartphones.
• Trigger One-Time Password (OTP) messages from local and international services, including global brands.
• Perform testing primarily on the SMART Cambodia network, while also executing tests on other mobile operators when required.
• Record test execution, observations, and results accurately in the web-based testing portal.
• Verify that test cases have been completed successfully and report any issues or unexpected behaviour.
• Support ongoing testing activities by following documented procedures and schedules.
• Collaborate with the Sentinel team through E-mail, Microsoft Teams and Slack.
• Maintain company-provided laptops and test devices used for testing activities.

• Good spoken and written English skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow documented procedures accurately.
• Good organizational skills and a structured approach to work.
• Ability to work independently while being part of a remote international team.
• Confidence using Android smartphones and web-based applications.\

Preferred Qualifications

The following experience is considered an advantage:

• Basic knowledge of telecommunications, mobile networks, or SMS services.
• Experience working with mobile devices or testing mobile applications.
• Experience working in an international or distributed team environment.
