Responsibilities and Duties
- Ensure facility conformance with all applicable local and corporate environment, health, safety laws, regulations, policies and guideline.
- Coordinate/conduct EHS training for staff. Ensure that all training is documented as required by corporate guidelines and that records are properly maintained.
- Communicate EHS alerts to all employees.
- Perform periodic facility EHS inspection.
- Monitor follow-up and corrective action resulting from EHS audits and inspections.
- Participate in accident investigation and reporting.
- Promote positive safety attitude and behavior and safety campaign.
- Identify opportunities for hazardous waste reduction.
- Maintain the emergency contingency plan for the facility.
- Coordinate/organize safety meeting and actions.
- Ensure that employees wear appropriate personal protective equipment and that all affected employees receive proper training in the use of the equipment.
- Ensure that necessary safety equipment is provided and rules for use are published and observed
- Other relevant assignments.
Qualifications and Skills
- Vocational School or Bachelor Degree in technical field.
- Minimum three years working experience in EHS or relevant fields
- Good written and spoken English;
- Conscientious, highly motivated with excellent organizational, interpersonal and communications skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft application
