Train Conductor Management
- Develop and manage rosters for train conductors to ensure adequate staffing for passenger train operations
- Enforce uniform and appearance standards for train conductors
- Organize and implement relevant training programs to enhance skills and service quality
- Develop emergency response plans and ensure train conductors are trained accordingly
- Evaluate and monitor train conductors’ duties and performance, ensuring compliance with service and safety standards.
Passenger Train Operations
- Collaborate with the Passenger Train Maintenance Manager to ensure passenger trains are safe, clean, hygiene and technically fit for operation
- Plan and coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly passenger train schedules
- Work closely with train control operations to ensure smooth operations and efficient passenger train movement
- Implement and monitor speed restrictions for passenger trains to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Develop and manage emergency response procedure for passenger train operations
- Oversee and manage all types of passenger train services to ensure seamless operations
- Monitor and check train crews and train conductor(s) before, during, and after operations with clear reporting and documentation.
Cleaning Team Supervision
- Manage the cleaning team, including scheduling and roster management
- Enforce uniform and appearance standards for cleaning staff
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOP) for cleaning and hygiene
- Manage inventory and procurement of cleaning materials and equipment
- Evaluate and coordinate the cleaning team’s duties and performance
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained across all passenger train carriages, railway stations, platforms, workshops, and the head office.
Passenger Train Café Shop Management
- Supervise café team operations, including scheduling and rostering
- Monitor and control café stock levels and inventory
- Ensure high customer service standards are maintained in the passenger train café
- Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance customer experience.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager to support passenger operations and service excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Transportation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in customer service, transportation, hospitality, or sales and marketing.
- Excellence Khmer and English Proficiency or skill in another language(s) is a plus
- Leadership and team management skills
- Sale and marketing skill
- Customer relationship management
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Special Conditions
- Required to work extended hours and weekends as required
- Overtime does not apply
- Required to travel in Cambodia and Internationally.
