- Source and negotiate with local suppliers for electrical equipment, office supplies, and other required materials or services.
- Issue Request for Quotations (RFQs), analyze bids, and prepare purchase evaluations.
- Create and process Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain good relationships with existing suppliers and evaluate new vendors to ensure quality, price competitiveness, and timely delivery.
- Monitor local market trends and update price comparisons regularly.
- Coordinate closely with internal departments (especially Engineering, Finance, and Sales) to understand procurement needs and timelines.
- Track and follow up on deliveries to ensure goods/services arrive on time and meet specifications.
- Maintain procurement files, contracts, and records with proper documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement procedures and standards.
- Assist in periodic inventory checks and stock-level monitoring.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in electrical equipment or industrial goods.
- Good understanding of local market dynamics and supplier networks.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic procurement software.
- Knowledge of procurement compliance and documentation.
- Able to travel locally when required.
