Job Summary

We are seeking detailed and organized accounts payable to join our finance team. Accounts payable will play a crucial role in managing the company's payable processing invoices and ensuring timely and accurate payment to vendors and suppliers. The ideal candidate is a reliable and efficient professional with a strong understanding of the accounting payable process and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities and Duties

Payable Planning Account and Analysis:                                                                                                                         

  • Process account payment invoices by verifying accuracy, matching them to purchase orders, and obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Code and enter invoices into the accounting system, ensuring proper allocation to appropriate expense accounts and cost centers.
  • Review and reconcile the supplier statement to identify and resolve any discrepancies or outstanding payments.
  • Prepare and process payment within specified payment terms.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare and analyze aging report and provide insights to management regarding overdue accounts and collection trends.
  • Assist in the month-end closing process by preparing necessary reports and schedules related to accounts payable.
  • Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable file.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or a related field; or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting management.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
