The Marketing & Product Manager will be responsible for managing the overall marketing strategy and product portfolio of the company’s pharmaceutical brands. This includes product positioning, promotional planning, market research, and active engagement with doctors and medical professionals to drive brand awareness and sales growth.
The role requires close collaboration with the sales, regulatory, and medical teams to ensure effective product promotion, ethical marketing, and consistent revenue generation
Strategic Planning & Market Research
- Conduct market analysis to assess therapeutic segments, competitor activity, and customer trends.
- Develop annual brand and marketing strategies aligned with company goals.
- Identify growth opportunities through new launches or portfolio optimization.
Brand Management & Promotion
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns (ATL/BTL) for assigned products.
- Develop positioning, messaging, and promotional materials compliant with MoH and company standards.
- Create marketing tools such as brochures, digital assets, and product monographs.
Doctor & Medical Professional Engagement
- Engage with doctors and pharmacists through conferences, CME programs, dinner meetings, and personal visits.
- Collaborate with the sales team to drive KOL engagement and prescription growth.
- Gather market insights from healthcare professionals to refine strategies
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Align with sales, regulatory, and supply chain teams for smooth execution of marketing plans.
- Ensure scientific accuracy and product availability across all promotional activities.
Performance & Reporting
- Track product performance, sales trends, and campaign ROI.
- Manage marketing budgets and report key KPIs (sales growth, prescription share, campaign qn impact) to management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medicine, or Business Administration (MBA preferred).
- 3–6 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, product management, or brand management — preferably with a distributor or multinational pharma company.
- Strong understanding of drug formulation, therapeutic classes, and clinical promotion.
- Proven experience in organizing and managing medical events, conferences, and doctor engagement programs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in Khmer and English.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales and market data.
Desired Skills & Attributes
- Familiarity with Cambodia’s pharmaceutical market and Ministry of Health regulations.
- Experience working closely with sales teams to drive prescription and hospital-level business.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Ability to multitask, travel frequently, and lead projects independently.
- Energetic, persuasive, and customer-focused mindset.
