Get to know the team:

The Growth & BI team is responsible for 2 major scopes - (i) Demand Growth and (ii) Business Intelligence.

i. Demand Growth - The team’s primary focus is on demand generation. By analyzing promotion effectiveness, we determine which incentives to use in order to maximize business growth. The team also ensures that promotion spending stays within the budget while still achieving a significant uplift in demand.

ii. Business Intelligence - The team is also responsible for high impact analytics work that helps the organisation make informed, data-driven decisions.

Get to know the role:

As an Analyst, you will be responsible for translating large data sets into insightful business recommendations for the team to work on in order to create positive business impact. You will lead the whole data retrieval, data analysis, experiment designs, and collaboration with other functions to gather input in order to provide relevant insights for the team. The analytics work you lead will include both demand generation and non-demand generation related projects.

Key responsibilities:

• You will lead analytics work for various projects. You will define the objective of the analysis, design an experiment if need, identify key metrics, process and visualize large datasets, and present business recommendations to key stakeholders with high efficiency and accuracy.
• Your analytics work will mainly be within the scope of Demand Growth, which involves Promo experimentation and budget optimization, user growth and user retention.
• As and when needed, you will lead analytics work deemed critical to the business outside the scope of Marketplace.
• You will be initiating, creating, and maintaining key reports and dashboards critical to the business.
• You will be the subject matter expert in terms of data analytics. This role also comes with the responsibility to provide consultation to other teams to empower them towards data driven insights and decisions.

Qualifications:

• You are proficient in Excel, SQL, and have experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Proficiency in data languages such as Python or R is a plus.
• You have extensive experience with data and how to translate your findings into opportunities and strengths for the team.
• You are able to make logical and astute hypotheses through data to help solve ambiguous problems and provide valuable business insights.
• You are able to develop good relations across different teams and communicate ideas effectively and relevantly to different stakeholder groups.
• You are driven by goals and are proactive in achieving them.
• You are proficient in English communication and writing skills.
