Job Summary
- To oversee and maintain the performance and stability of our systems and servers. This role requires strong technical skills in monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting system/server infrastructure.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Monitor and maintain the health and performance of Linux/Windows-based servers and virtual machines.
- Respond to system-related incidents and ensure high availability of core infrastructure.
- Implement and optimize server monitoring tools (e.g., Cacti, Zabbix, Elastic-Flow, etc.) to enable proactive issue detection.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to deploy system/server updates and enhancements.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring system/server issues.
- Maintain documentation related to system/server architecture, procedures, and configuration changes.
- Participate in scheduled maintenance and on-call rotations to support system/server uptime.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a System Engineering role.
- Proficiency in server management, virtualization (e.g., VMware, Proxmox), and system monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with backup solutions, system logging, and patch management tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution skills in a production environment.
