- Report to the Chief Accountant
- The accountant in charge of the daily accounting department and ensure account department runs smoothly
- Ensure the company complies with company financial regulations.
MAIN TASKS / JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with accounts payable, accounts receivable; prepare and make bank deposits
- Liaise with HR department to prepare monthly staff payroll; receive, process, and reconcile statements;
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Maintain accurate records, including ledgers, journals, receipts, and invoices
- Assist with preparation for annual audits
- Data recording entry management.
MAIN AREAS OF JOB PERFORMANCE
- Staff management by supervise accounts clerical staff to assure that the department accomplishes accounting objectives through managing, and mentoring staff
- Approves cash disbursements by verifying check amounts against invoices, and authorizing checks and wire transfers;
- Maintains cash flow by monitoring bank balances and cash requirements
- Recommend and review of business insurance by scheduling values, including personnel and real property, vehicles, computers, equipment, media, and accounts receivable
- Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential
- Maintains financial security by adhering to internal controls
- Supports account audits by providing information and answers to auditors
Professional background and training
- Bachelor degree of accounting, tax or related fields
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience large cooperation firm
- Excellent computer software in Word, Excel, Payroll & accounting programs, PowerPoint
- Proficiency with technology, and the ability to pick up new software easily
