We are looking for an energetic and resourceful high achiever to lead the Payments and Collections team, which handles payments and collections for the GrabFood business. Your responsibilities will include.
- Ensuring accurate and timely payments and collections.
- Supervising, coaching and training a team of payments and collections specialists.
- Monitoring and reporting the company’s payments and collections performance.
- Ensuring all operational procedures are in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Build, scale, and maintain tools and processes that help ensure that revenue from Merchant-Partners is collected accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.
- Plan, approve, and supervise the deployment of systems and processes to manage and analyze financial data and other records to Merchant-Partners.
- Prepare business reports and forecasts as requested Merchant-Partners.
- Develop and maintain a solid understanding of all products and services Grab offers.
- Work with our product, operations, and Merchant Acquisition Team to make sure Merchant-Partners have the best possible experience.
- Investigate and resolve possible discrepancies or disputes.
- Maintain a warm, professional relationship with Merchant-Partners by maintaining high satisfaction in every touch point.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors and ensure compliance with Grab’s policies, Revenue codes and accounting standards.
- Set clear team goals and deadlines, and motivate and empower the team to meet them.
- Maximize team productivity and performance through coaching, delegating effectively, promoting problem solving, and upskilling.
- Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
- At least 2 years of experience in a finance, accounting, business administration or related field, including 1 year leading a team.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration.
- Good understanding of the billing-to-cash process.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Energetic, detail oriented, enthusiastic and calm even in very dynamic and fast-paced working conditions.
- Experience in the F&B industry is an advantage.
- Able to work under pressure while serving partners.
- Basic understanding of the local financial regulatory environment, compliance and customer due diligence process.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
- Fluent in both English and Khmer. Chinese is a plus.
