Job Summary

An HR & Admin Intern typically supports the Human Resources and Administrative departments by performing a variety of tasks like assisting staff recruitment, staff engagement and retention, staff benefit and compensation and assist the office support.

Responsibilities and Duties

Assisting in the Staff Recruitment Process

  • Drafting job announcement
  • Posting job poster/job announcement
  • Collecting applications from HR telegram, recruitment agencies, websites, and other sources
  • Consolidating candidate applications to submit to the Head of HR
  • Replying to messages and answering candidate queries
  • Booking a meeting room for a staff interview
  • Contacting candidates for an interview
  • Printing candidate CVs
  • Checking candidate reference

Assisting Staff Onboarding

  • Supporting the new staff onboarding process
  • Preparing new staff announcement
  • Collecting required documents/ information from new staff
  • Preparing a new staff ID card and business card
  • Generating a new staff QR code
  • Generating a new employee ID
  • Assisting new staff tour
  • Assisting new staff with stationery
  • Registering new staff fingerprint and office door access

Assisting Staff Engagement and Retention

  • Coordinating and handling staff birthday celebrations
  • Organizing and assisting the manager for parties, meetings, and other HR events within and outside the company

Assisting with Staff Compensation and Benefits

  • Drafting staff final payment

Assisting Staff Attendance

  • Exporting staff attendance data from the fingerprint machine
  • Recording daily staff movement
  • Handling staff leave records
  • Keeping staff leave form

Assisting Office Management

  • Assisting Admin relates to company assets
  • Assisting Admin for office hygiene, office stationery
  • Assisting the Admin for purchasing, like finding quotations

Other Tasks Assigned by Manager

Qualifications and Skills
  • Graduated student/student who is studying a bachelor's degree in human resource management, Law, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • No experience is fine, but an experienced candidate is a plus
  • Cambodian labor law and contract negotiation
  • HR roles and functions
  • Communication skills like writing, speaking, and listening
  • Attention to detail, good at focusing
  • Computer skills, Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
  • Good at researching
  • Organizing skills
  • Open to learning and challenging new things
  • Patient and friendly
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
