Responsibilities and Duties

Lead and manage the Tax & Advisory team to deliver high-quality compliance, advisory, and consulting services.
Mentor, coach, and develop team members to achieve professional growth and performance excellence.
Oversee workload planning, resource allocation, and department operations to ensure efficiency.
Act as the lead advisor for key clients, managing complex tax and business advisory matters.
Oversee and review work related to Cambodian tax compliance, tax audits, planning, restructuring, and cross-border tax matters.
Provide strategic business advisory solutions, including corporate structuring, investment advisory, and regulatory compliance.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Cambodian laws, Prakas, and international tax developments impacting clients.
Drive the department’s growth through proactive business development and cross-selling opportunities.
Develop proposals, deliver client presentations, and participate in contract negotiations.
Represent the firm at industry events, networking functions, and professional associations to enhance brand visibility.
Contribute to the formulation and execution of the firm’s strategic plan for Tax & Advisory services.
Identify market trends, anticipate client needs, and develop service offerings that address emerging opportunities.
Collaborate with other service lines to deliver integrated client solutions.
Ensure all engagements comply with professional standards, firm policies, and legal requirements.
Manage client risks and resolve issues promptly to maintain strong, long-term relationships.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field.
Possession of a Registered Tax Agent License in Cambodia and/or a professional accounting will be considered an added advantage.
Associate Director: Minimum 8–10 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role within a professional services firm or multinational corporation.; Director: Minimum 10–12 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a professional services firm or multinational corporation.
In-depth knowledge of Cambodian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Proven expertise in business advisory, tax planning, and cross-border taxation.
Strong track record in business development and client relationship management.
Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
Strong technical expertise in tax and advisory services.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English (Chinese proficiency is an advantage).
High standards of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
